To imitate a hare wail and a rabbit wail place your lips on the end of the diaphragm and blow briefly into the whistle. Try to imitate a realistic frightening howl of a rabbit and hare. Vary long and short sounds for 15-25 seconds and repeat at 3-4 minute intervals. By opening and closing the hand behind the decoy whistle you vary the sound and breathe more life into the field.
