“Hubertus Roe fiep hazelnut” excellent game call for the big roebuck, has been on the market for years and has proven itself in decoy hunting.
The most important properties and uses for the roebuck at a glance:
- The callers are set to the roebuck squeak.
- The squeak is the colloquial and communication language of roe deer and must therefore be considered the most natural and correct squeak method.
- The squeak must not be set too high, otherwise far more does than bucks will be entitled to it. As a rule, remember: do not squeak too much.
Application:
When using the squeak, hold the squeak in the cupped hand so that the mouthpiece protrudes about 1 cm from the closed hand between the thumb and index finger. Place the squeak to moderately tight lips, do not put it in the mouth. A short breath produces the short, delicate and natural squeak sound "fie". You should only start flicking after you have taken up your stand as quietly as possible. After a rest of around 10-15 minutes, you should start flicking in the following way: 2-3 flicks in different directions, then a pause of 1-2 minutes; then 2-3 flicks, then after a pause of 3-4 minutes, repeat the same thing again. The individual sounds should not follow one another too quickly, roughly at the speed of breathing: flicking sound - inhaling - exhaling - flicking sound, etc. After flicking, you should remain quietly at the stand for another 10-15 minutes; it can happen that if you leave the stand too quickly, the buck jumps off with a scolding sound. Flicking on the ground seems more natural than from the raised hide.
